Top 3 Albums Of 2009

#3. Blueprint 3: Jay-Z made a huge run this time around wit his final installment of the Blueprint series "Blueprint 3". He starts off with "D.O.A." (Death Of Auto tune) he brought shock value to the game & shuts down the auto tune 4 the time being. Then he made a huge splash wit "Run This Town" featuring Rihanna & KanYe West landing #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. Soon after the biggest record of his career "Empire State Of Mind" featuring Alicia Keys hits #1 on Billboard's Hot 100. "BP3" is not better than "Blueprint" but better than "BP2", but I must say compared to "Kingdom Come" & "American Gangster" Jay really delivered & is the #1 rapper again.
#2. Relapse: Thank God Eminem is back after a 3 year hiatus (technically), Hip Hop needed him badly. Eminem had tons of doubters, many ppl believed he lost it lyrically due to his absence from Hip Hop. Boy did he proved them wrong. Not only the album preformed great (600,000 1st week), "Relapse" is way better than "Encore". This album is almost as good as "The Marshall Mathers LP" & "The Eminem Show". I'm definitely lookin' forward 2 "Relapse 2".
#1. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2: Good 2 see Raekwon back wit "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2". I though long & hard the past 3 months & Rae got album of the year over Slim Shady. (In my opinion) Rae took it back 2 the 90's style of rap music wit this disc almost like "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx...". Wit records like "10 Bricks", "Broken Safety" 4 me it's a breath of fresh air. Congrats Chef!!
