I'm happy & it's about damn time!! I waited 8 years 4 this & they should've won 6 years ago against The Florida Marlins but hey it's all good now. The Yankees defeated the 2008 champs The Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 in the best of 7 series. (The score was 7-3) I was up in TGI-Fridays chillin' wit my homies when all this went down.
Congrats to the MVP Hideki Matsui. (He's not only the 1st DH but also the Japanese player 2 win this award.)
