Alexis Jordan
Former 'America's Got Talent' contestant Alexis Jordan has become the latest artist signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation imprint. The 17-year-old South Carolina native didn't secure the winning spot when she appeared on the inaugural season of the show in 2007, but she impressed judges wit her cover of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing". Jordan later became a viral sensation with her YouTube covers of popular songs including B.o.B.'s "Nothing on You" & Jay-Z's "Run This Town" & caught the attention of executives at Stargate & Roc Nation. Jordan recently debuted her upbeat single "Happiness" & revealed that her album will follow the same, youthful tempo. "I want to be really positive, no cussing, none of that," she said. "I'm a young artist & I want to be a role model. A lot of songs are upbeat & some are ballads. There's a little bit of that country vibe in it & a little bit of that reggae vibe. My album has everything."

Diggy Simmons Signs Deal With Atlantic Records
Congratulations to Diggy!! From his mixtape The First Flight he released singles/remixes "Star Is Born", "Point to Prove" & "Set Me Free" but it took the release of his remix to Drake's, "Over" (Just The Beginning), that eventually got Diggy enuff buzz for his deal. Diggy also spits a crazy sixteen over Nas' "Made You Look", & unleashed "Flow Stoopid" which was the hit that finally got Diggy more love then anticipated. Wit cosigns by Lupe Fiasco & Swizz Beatz via twitter & blog postings by KanYe West & Common, Diggy EARNED his buzz that has major companies, labels & the internet wanting to get familiar with him. Michelle Obama Makes An Appearance On The Simpsons
The First Lady of the United States made her first appearance as an animated character Sunday. Appearing as a reader of Lisa Simpson's blog under the name “FLOTUS1”, the First Lady voiced by Angela Basset visits Sprinfield Elementary to praise little Lisa for being an overachiever. The most comical moment in the show is at the end when the FLOTUS rolls up her sleeves showing off her trademark biceps to help Secret Service open the door to her helicopter. The United States House of Representatives made history late Sunday night by passing the Senate version of the healthcare reform bill by a narrow but firm margin of 219-212. Further the House also passed the “fix it” bill of House amendments to the Senate bill, by a margin of 217-205. Every House Republican voted against the bill.In due course it is expected that the bill passed on Sunday would lead to additional insurance coverage for almost 32 million more Americans, bringing the healthcare system closer than ever to the goal of universal coverage. It will also weaken the grip of health insurance companies over the market by preventing them from denying coverage based on pre-existing conditions and restrict their ability to raise premiums or drop coverage.
Further, children may remain on their parents' insurance policies until the age of 26 and insurance companies would no longer be able to impose lifetime limits on policies. The costs of obtaining insurance cover would also fall for older people and those with pre-existing conditions through their participation in “high-risk pools.” Small business would also derive such benefits by participating in state-level exchanges and some businesses would face penalties for not providing their employees with insurance.
